Cancellation Policy

A full 24 hour cancellation notice is required prior to the first day of the reservation. Without a full 24 hours notice (that is by 10:00 am on the day preceding your reservation), your credit card will be automatically charged for one full day per child. A no call or no show on a reservation will be charged one full day cancellation fee and the rest of reservation will be canceled. For cancellations made within 24 hours, a $50 processing fee will be charged. Your reservation holds your child’s space until 10:00 am. No refunds will be given due to weather.

Change Policy

Changes can be made by calling the center and are subject to a $50 processing fee if calling within 24 hours of your reservation. Changes are allowed only if availability for the requested date of change.

Enrollment and Illness Policy

Vail Resorts reserves the right to limit enrollment and/or refuse admittance to any child who, in Vail Resorts sole discretion, does not fit into the program due to age, adaptability, or illness. Children showing any signs of illness (i.e. cough, runny nose, upset stomach, diarrhea, fever, etc) will not be allowed to participate in our program for at least 24 hours after they are free of all symptoms.

Note: Your child must be fever-free, without medication, for a full 24 hours before participating in our programs.

You will be required to sign a Children’s Center ASSUMPTION OF RISK, HOLD-HARMLESS, RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT prior to your child’s participation.

Operation Dates and Hours

The daycare is open 7 days a week in accordance with opening and closing dates for the mountain ski season. Our hours of operation are 8:30AM - 4:00PM. Children must be checked in no later than 10AM for all programs, and picked up no later than 4PM; a late fee of $1 per minute applies to any child left in center after closing.

Our infant program caters to ages 2 months to 15 months and maintains a ratio of one caregiver for every three infants, maximum group size is 8. This program is designed to provide individualized quality care to guest children within a primary care system; our trained staff adheres to schedules detailed by parents.

What to bring:
You must provide any bottles or baby food your child will need during the day. We provide snacks, lunch and drinks for those who eat table food. It is important to bring six disposable diapers, a change of clothes and any special items your child has an attachment to. Cribs, blankets and sheets are provided; we also have a wide range of age appropriate toys and offer exploration areas as well as excersaucers and bouncy seats for younger infants. The Keystone Children’s Center meets or exceeds the standards set by the Colorado Department of Human Services for ski area child care facilities

Our toddler programs allows ages 16 to 35 months to play the day away with age appropriate toys, art projects, and group activities. The toddler program is intended to provide a stimulating, fun, safe and loving environment within a primary care system. The ratio is one caregiver for every 4 children with a maximum group size of 12. Children must arrive prior to 10 a.m.. Children will not be admitted into program after 10 a.m.

What to bring:
Children must be sun screened upon arrival with coat, snow pants, waterproof mittens, and hat (eye protection is recommended). It is important to bring six disposable diapers or pull-ups, a change of clothes and any special items your child has an attachment to. Drinks, two snacks and lunch served with fruit and vegetables are provided. You will need to provide your child a lunch if allergies exist or on special diets. We are a nut-free center. Children must be checked in before 10 a.m.

 Activity Schedule:

• 8:30-9:30 - check-in, art projects, and free play
• 9:30-10:00 - clean up, snack, diaper changes/potty
• 10:00-10:30 – dressed for outside play/buggy ride through village 10:30-11:30 - outside time (weather permitting)
• 11:30-12:00 – undress, clean up, lunch, diaper changes/potty
• 12:00-2:00 – rest time (children are required to rest if in program for more than 4 hours)
• 2:00 – table activities (play dough, puzzles, sensory activities, coloring) 2:30-4:00 – clean up, snack, diaper changes/potty.
