At Keystone, we’re all about having a little (or a lot!) of fun in the snow! And this year we are focused on unique and magical on-mountain experiences that appeal to both kids and adults. There is a TON of FUN to be had at Keystone on and off the slopes, and activities like mountaintop snow tubing, ice skating at Lakeside Village and Scenic Sleigh Rides are now open. Ice Skating

Glide and twirl around Keystone's 5-acre lake, one of two outdoor skating venues the resort has to offer. The other ice rink is located in the heart of River Run Village, just a short walk from the Gondola, the 7,200-sq. ft Dercum Square rink offers skating in a festive atmosphere.

Mountaintop Snow Tubing

Get ready to scream your face off at our Mountaintop Tubing Hill - it's a winter rite of passage. Enjoy our multi-lane hill, complete with a convenient lift for more laps per hour. The smiles and giggles are totally free and uncontrollable during this classic family activity that truly is fun for all ages.

Nordic Center

With more than 17 kilometers of groomed trails for classic and skate skiing and access to 40 kilometers of nearby backcountry trails throughout the White River National Forest, the Keystone Nordic Center is a haven for outdoor recreation. Choose from classic, skate skis, or snowshoes for your next adventure.

New to the sport? The Nordic Center offers lessons and guided snowshoe tours throughout the winter season.

  

Scenic Sleigh Ride

Go dashing through the snow aboard our scenic horse-drawn sleigh. You’ll enjoy an hour of outdoor fun in the crisp winter air as you travel through the beautiful Soda Creek Valley. Your guide will tell tales of yesteryear and a stop at an original Keystone homestead will have you warmed with hot cider. Perfect for all ages, a truly magical experience in our winter wonderland.

  

Mountain-top Snow Forts

At Keystone Resort, families can enjoy the enchanting Snow Fort, a winter wonderland made entirely of snow. Two on-mountain Snow Forts are the World’s LARGEST mountaintop snow fort and located at the top of Dercum Mountain! The snow fort is the perfect stop before heading to a mountaintop tubing session. The nearby Summit House offers breakfast, lunch and snacks and hot chocolate for a fun afternoon of adventure. Sure to delight visitors, it's a magical place for kids and adults alike, where imaginations run wild. Perfect for exploration and play, this icy castle offers a unique and unforgettable experience amidst the breathtaking mountain scenery.
