Best in Snow

At Keystone, we know a little thing or two about bringing the magic of snow to life. From our signature runs and spectacular snow tubing to the World’s Largest Mountaintop Snow Fort, we know just how to celebrate the season in snow-tacular fashion! This year, you can visit a winter wonderland right from the comfort of your own home by tuning in to Disney+’s “Best in Snow,” an ice-cold competition hosted right here in our own mountain playground!

Brrrring on the competition!

Best in Snow, hosted by Tituss Burgess, features teams from around the world who are transported to the magical snowy village of Snowdome (located in Keystone, Colorado!), and thrown into a spirited competition to compete for the title of Best In Snow. With the help of Snowdome’s finest carvers, teams will transform their ten-foot, twenty-ton blocks of snow into beautiful creations inspired by Pixar, Marvel, Walt Disney Animation, Walt Disney Studios, and The Muppets Studios. The teams will take family favorites such as Moana, Coco and The Lion King and bring the characters to life in a way you’ve never seen before – in snow!

Spectacular snow sculptures and lively musical performances from Tituss Burgess, Kermit the Frog, and DCappella make this an action-packed winter event for the entire family. You can learn more about this holiday special that airs on Nov. 18 only on Disney+ here!

Bringing Snow to Life at Keystone!

When you’re ready to turn off the TV and experience the whimsy of giant snow creations in person, look no further than Keystone! This year we're serving up fun for the whole family, with (drum roll please) not one but TWO on-mountain Snow Forts! That's right, we're not only bringing the magic of Snow Fort back -- we're doubling it.

The World’s LARGEST Mountaintop Snow Fort returns to the top of Dercum Mountain this season with a brand new design and plenty of fun for guests of all ages! After your mountaintop adventure, head down towards our Mountain House Base Area to check out our new kid-friendly snowfort- or pop into the Last Lift Bar for some après! Get into the snowy spirit by tuning in to Dinsey+’s Best In Snow, and then explore the World’s Largest Mountaintop Snow Fort when it opens on Friday, December 23 with a special lighting ceremony and fireworks! Whether on TV or on our mountain, frozen fun awaits!
