Thank you for booking your Keystone Ski & Ride School Lesson!  Below you will find helpful information to prepare you for your lesson.

where to go & how to get there

There are two lesson locations at Keystone Resort. Please be sure to double check your Ski & Ride School confirmation email for your reserved location to ensure you arrive at the appropriate base area. Both base areas are accessible via Keystone’s free in-resort transportation system, as well as offering both free and paid parking lots. You’ll also find ticket windows, rental shops and food and beverage outlets at both base areas, as well as easy mountain access.

Directions to River Run Ski & Ride School

DIRECTIONS TO RIVER RUN BASE AREA

  • From I70 W take exit 205 to Silverthorne
  • Continue East on US-6
  • Pass the Keystone sign
  • Continue East on US-6 staying in the right lane
  • Stay right when HWY 6 forks
  • Turn left at the next street onto Gondola Road

 

PARKING AT RIVER RUN BASE AREA

Keystone offers Free Parking in the Gondola Parking Lot. If you are traveling with small children or 4+ vehicle occupants, Keystone offers Family Parking at the front of the lot. Keystone also offers guests the free use of wagons to cart their equipment from the parking lot to the Ski and Ride School or Gondola Area. Paid parking is also available at the Hunki Dori (closest to Children’s Ski School) and Gold Bug (closest to the Adult and Private Lesson Ski School facility) Parking Lots for a per day fee.

The River Run Children’s Ski School Facility in located in Gondola Plaza at the base of the River Run Gondola. Directions to Children's Ski & Ride School  location from Montezuma Free Parking Lot:

  • From the parking lot, walk through the Village Center (bearing left through the Village) past Starbucks, Keystone Sports, towards Kickapoo Tavern. The mountain will be in front of you. 
  • Walk across the foot bridge towards the ticket office/River Run Gondola
  • The Children’s Ski & Ride School will be immediately on your left
  • Children’s pick-up is located around the back of the facility, closest to the gondola loading area

The River Run Adult & Private Lesson facility is located behind the storefront building with Keystone Sports and Inxpot Café. Directions to Adult Ski & Ride School and Private Lesson location from Montezuma Free Parking Lot:

  • From the parking lot, walk through the Village Center (bearing left through the Village) past Starbucks, Keystone Sports, towards Kickapoo Tavern. The mountain will be in front of you. 
  • As you near the mountain, you'll see a foot bridge.
  • Before you reach the bridge take a right (in front of Spoon Café and the wooden playground structure)
  • Follow the curved path until you see the Adult Ski & Ride School structure (a large tent-like building) across from the back entrance to Inxpot café

DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO MOUNTAIN HOUSE BASE AREA

  • From I70 W take exit 205 to Silverthorne
  • Continue East on US-6
  • Pass the Keystone sign
  • Turn right at the stop light at West Keystone Road
  • Then make an immediate left to stay onto West Keystone Road
  • Continue straight onto West Keystone Road to the Mountain House Base Area

PARKING AT MOUNTAIN HOUSE BASE AREA

Paid parking is available at the Pika Lot, Porcupine, and Marmot Lots.

The Mountain House Ski & Ride School facilities (Children’s/Camp Keystone, Adult and Private Lessons) are located on the West end of the base area. If parking on the West side, the Children’s facility/Camp Keystone will be the first building on the right (immediately past the Discovery Chair lift/learning area), while the Adult & Private lesson facility will be the second building on the right. If parking on the East side of the Village, you’ll walk past the ticket office and Mountain House day lodge and the Ski & Ride School facilities will be next to Keystone Sports on your left (Adults & Privates followed by Children’s/Camp Keystone).
