Make a reservation now to guarantee your spot in our lessons. Ski & Ride School may not be available for purchase the morning of your desired lesson day. When making your reservation using our online ski and snowboard school reservation system you may receive a message that the location you have chosen has sold out for that date. Please try a different day or location. If sold out, the Ski & Ride School will not accommodate reservations made for a different date.

Children's Multi-Week Lessons

Keystone offers unique 3-week programs designed for children of different age groups.  Skiers and riders from all abilities are welcome and will be divided into groups based on ability and age.

Explorers (Ages 3-4) 
Kroozers (Ages 5-15)

Daycare

Children who are still in diapers or pull-ups cannot attend Ski & Ride School. However, convenient daycare programs for children 2 months to 6 years old are available at the Keystone Children’s Center. Please call 970-496-4170 (option 5) for more information about daycare.

Children Ages 3 - 6

Your child will develop the correct moves right away under the guidance of our pro ski instructors.  We understand that a 3-year-old is different than a 12-year-old, and tailor our instruction in age-specific programs.  A fun, nurturing environment ensures that your child develops an appreciation for the mountains and a love for skiing. Registration begins at 8am.  Your child must be registered and ticketed by 9am.

Kids Ultimate 4 Snowboard Lessons

Our Ultimate 4 Snowboard Program is designed for children ages 5 and 6. Each class is limited to four students or fewer per instructor, so kids get more individual attention and learn faster in a safer environment. Our children’s snowboard instructors focus on creating a safe environment where children can explore the mountain and refine their skills.

Rentals

Ski and snowboard rentals are available for only $25 per day, and you can keep the equipment during your stay even after your lesson for added convenience.  Helmets are included with rentals.

Children Ages 7 - 13

Our pros are trained to provide your child with individual challenge and feedback, while promoting a social and engaging group environment. We teach expert moves early and reinforce them every step of the way, we believe in the inherent ability of every child to learn new things, and we strive to make learning a journey of self-discovery. Keystone Explorers

Do you have a potential “little ripper”?  Keystone wants to help you turn your youngster into the next superstar!  Explorers is a three-week program designed for kids ages 3-4 year old.  Skiers   of all ability levels are welcome.  Children are grouped by age and ability level.   Keystone Ski and Ride School strives to help kids experience skiing in a fun and safe environment.  

Price:
$273 for one child, $242 for each additional child in the family
Additional sessions are $221 for one child, and $205 for each additional child in the family
All ages are required to have a lift ticket.  Ages 3 and 4 will receive complimentary tickets

Keystone Kroozers

Keystone Kroozers – All Levels
Kroozers is a three-week program designed for kids ages 5-15 years old.  Skiers and snowboarders of all ability levels are welcome.  Children are grouped by age and ability level. Kroozers strives to help children develop a solid skill-set in a safe environment while promoting camaraderie amongst peers.  Kroozers lessons feature weekly themes, including a race day finale on the last day of each session.

Keystone Kroozers and Beyond – Level 7+
Kroozers and Beyond is a three-week program designed for skiers and snowboarders who are 5-15 years old and Level 7+. Children are grouped by age and ability level. Kroozers and Beyond is designed to take children to the next level.  Children will have the opportunity throughout the three weeks to get an introduction to Keystone’s A51 Terrain Park, pipe and rails with a certified freestyle coach; experience All Mountain terrain such as bowls, bumps and trees, as well as get familiar with racing, where they will learn drills, course inspection, race line tactics, course setting and more.

Price:
