Adult Ski & Ride School

Research and experience shows that the best way to learn and develop skills is to have ample time to practice under the watchful eye of an experienced pro. Lessons give you the opportunity to take what you learn and apply it in a variety of terrain and conditions. Our pros are part coach, part mentor, part guide and all passion.

Whether it's your first time on the mountain and you're just working on getting on and off the chairlift, or you are ready to conquer new terrain and tackle the trees, the bumps, or big alpine bowls, our expert instructors can give you the knowledge and confidence you need to take your skiing and riding to the next level.

Group Lessons

We offer group lessons, or for a more specialized approach, we offer women's and teens programs. For a more personalized experience, sign yourself or your group up for a private lesson.   Lift tickets, rental equipment, and lunch are not included.  Passes are available for Beginners and are good only on beginner lifts and when accompanied by an instructor.

The Adventure Sessions

NEW for 2009/2010

If Ski School had recess, this would be it!  Spend a day sharing a top guide with a small group, allowing you quick access to the best terrain and conditions on the mountain.  You will be teamed with other like-minded, like-skilled ski/ride enthusiasts, who want to get the most out of their day, going places that you might not go yourself, based on the joint interests and ability of the group. You’ll have the opportunity to cut lift lines and pick up tips and technical information along the way.  Become a better skier or snowboarder or simply enjoy your favorite mountains even more. Adventure Sessions meet daily at the River Run Adult Ski and Ride School daily. Lesson time: 9:15am – 3 pm.

Intermediate and advanced skiers and snowboarders only. Valid dates 12/18 - 4/11.
