DEPOSIT AND CANCELLATION POLICY

LODGING, CAR RENTAL, SHUTTLE, EQUIPMENT RENTAL, PACKAGE POLICIES--

    

 

Conference Reservations: Group and Conference reservations are not available for on-line booking. Please call 800-258-0437 to make your reservation.

Deposit: Deposit of $50 per reservation is automatically charged at the time of booking. Units that have 3 or more bedrooms require a $300 non-refundable deposit at time of booking.

Final Payment for reservations outside of ski season (Mid-April through October): Full and final payment is due 14 days prior to arrival and is automatically charged at that time. Reservations that are booked inside 14 days from arrival date are charged full and final payment at time of booking. All final payments are non-refundable after 4pm on the day prior to arrival.

Final Payment for reservations inside of ski season (November through Mid-April): Full and final payment is due 21 days prior to arrival and is automatically charged at that time. Reservations that are booked inside 21 days from arrival date are charged full and final payment at time of booking. All final payments are non-refundable.

Cancellation for reservations outside of ski season(Mid-April through October): Cancellation outside 1 day of arrival is subject to $50.00 processing fee per reservation. Please cancel your reservation before 4pm the day prior to arrival. Cancellations made the day of arrival are subject to forfeiture of full payment. No shows, late arrivals and early departures are charged the entire amount for the reserved stay. If you are traveling on Colorado Mountain Express, please cancel at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled shuttle time.

Cancellation for reservations in ski season(November through Mid-April): Cancellation outside 21 days of arrival is subject to $50.00 processing fee per reservation. Cancellations made 21 days or less of arrival are subject to forfeiture of full payment. No shows, late arrivals and early departures are charged the entire amount for the reserved stay.

Cancellations for large units (3 or more bedrooms): Cancellation prior to final payment due date (see requirements above) are subject to forfeiture of $300 deposit. Cancellations made inside of final payment due date are subject to forfeiture of full payment. No shows, late arrivals and early departures are charged the entire amount for the reserved stay.

Reservations with Air:
Reservations with air may be charged the full amount of the air cost at time of booking. Airfare is instant purchase and non-refundable at time of booking.

Failure to receive full payment on time causes the airline reservation portion of your reservation to be cancelled automatically. Reinstatement of your airline reservation is subject to flight availability and fares in effect at the time of re-booking.

Any flight changes are subject to change fees and possible change in fare, providing a change is allowed. Name changes are not allowed. Keystone Resort is not responsible for any cost associated with airline changes. Photo identification is required for all adult passengers at time of flight check in.

Exceptions: Exceptions to the above cancellation policies, except reservations including airfare, are made for United States military personnel with proof of deployment. Military personnel should call 1-866-RMT-BLUE for more information.

Surcharge: Your package includes a 5.9% surcharge, and applicable taxes thereon. Surcharge and taxes are subject to change without notice. This surcharge is added to your bill to contribute to the operation of the Keystone Conference Center.

LIFT TICKET POLICY--

    

 

All lift ticket products are non-transferable and non-refundable. Online PEAKS rates are only available online. Additional days purchased at the ticket window must be purchased at the window rate. When you purchase lift tickets, you will automatically be enrolled in the Vail Resorts "Peaks" loyalty program, at no cost to you. You will receive program information by standard mail and will be offered the chance to decline.

AIRLINE RESERVATIONS POLICY--

    

 

Airline tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable. Change fees and/or increased fares will be applied when a reservation is modified. Once the ticket has been purchased the name on the ticket cannot be changed.

It is the responsibility of all adult passengers to present valid photo identification upon check-in with their airline. If you are a member of your airline's frequent flyer or other reward club, please present your club number upon check-in. Vail Resorts asks that all passengers reconfirm their flights, with the airlines directly,  24-hours prior to their departure.

 

 

Prices are per person, and include all taxes & fees in USD. Airline baggage fees may apply and are not included in the price. 

CHILD CARE/NURSERY & CHILDREN'S SKI SCHOOL POLICIES--  (NOTE: children's ski and snowboard lessons require helmets)

    

 

1. Your Credit Card may be charged up to 48 hours prior to your arrival.
2. Changes or cancellations can be made by calling (800)255-3715.
3. A no call or no show on a reservation may be charged the full value of the product(s).
4. All guests must check into their program by 9:15 to ensure that their reservation can be fulfilled

* You will be required to sign a VAIL RESORTS SKI SCHOOL ASSUMPTION OF RISK, HOLD HARMLESS, RELEASE OF LIABILITY.

IMPORTANT: Children age 12 and under must wear a winter sport protective helmet while participating in ski and snowboard school. In addition, children over the age of 12 who participate in designated children's classes or programs must wear a helmet. Rental helmets are available at our children's ski and snowboard school locations for your convenience.

While helmets may reduce or mitigate the severity of some head injuries, their use does not guarantee safety and will not prevent certain injuries. The Resort reminds you that every winter sport participant shares responsibility for his or her safety and for that of others using the ski area facilities.

Always show courtesy to others and be aware that there are elements of risk in skiing and snowboarding that common sense and personal awareness can help reduce. Know your ability level and stay within it. Become familiar with and observe “Your Responsibility Code” and share with other skiers and snowboarders the responsibility for a great skiing or snowboarding experience.

ADULT SKI SCHOOL POLICIES--

PRIVATE LESSON REQUEST POLICIES--

    

 

Reservation Request and Cancellation Policy:

1. Your online transaction is a Reservation Request. This product will appear as "Purchased" in the Trip Folder when the request is sent, not when payment is completed.
2. You will be contacted by a Ski School Agent prior to your arrival and you'll receive a confirmation email from ski school for this Reservation Request. If you do not receive a confirmation email, your request may not have been received. If this occurs please contact the Ski School office: (800) 255-3715.
3. Your credit card will not be charged at the time of the online purchase, and will be charged up to 48 hours prior to your arrival.
4. Changes or cancellations can be made by calling the Ski School office: (800) 255-3715.
5. A no call or no show reservation may be charged the full price of the product.
6. All participants must check into their program location on time to ensure that their reservation can be fulfilled.

SEASON PASS DEPOSIT & CANCELLATION POLICY

Partial Pay Agreement: By putting $49 down, I understand that I am committing to buy the pass(es) for the 2014/2015 season. I UNDERSTAND THIS $49 PAYMENT IS NOT REFUNDABLE. I agree the credit card provided will be authorized for the remaining amount of the season pass product purchased. The remaining balance will be automatically charged to my credit card on or around September 15th, 2014. Once the $49 down payment has been made, the $49 down payment cannot be cancelled or refunded, nor can the pass purchase be cancelled or refunded*. In the event the total price of the season pass product is lowered prior to the start of the 2014/2015 ski season, the remaining amount due will be reduced by the amount that the total price was lowered. Those who pay $49 down will also be entitled to summer 2013 access.

I agree to provide a valid e-mail address for the express purpose of receiving communications regarding this transaction. I understand this is the only manner by which I will receive such communications.

*The only case where a guest can get a refund on a season pass is if pass insurance has been purchased and there is a valid claim.

THE PASS YOU ARE BUYING IS NOT TRANSFERABLE AND MAY NOT BE RESOLD. The pass may be confiscated with no re-issue if, in the sole judgment of the ski area operator, it is used in a fraudulent manner. Re-issued passes may be subject to a replacement fee. The passholder(s) acknowledge their affirmative duty to immediately notify the ski area operator and appropriate authorities if Holder’s pass is lost or stolen. Failure to notify the ski area of a stolen or lost pass may result in loss of skiing privileges.

Restrictions may apply for some season pass products. Visit snow.com for restricted dates. Valid for resorts purchased. Child is defined as 5 -12. Teen is defined as 13-18. Adult is defined as 19+. For questions, call 800-842-8062. No refunds available for season pass products. There is no season pass processing for these passes at Arapahoe Basin.
