Great American Taxi has built a hefty following the old fashioned way. With front man Vince Herman (Leftover Salmon) at the wheel people will recognize threads of the Leftover Salmon fabric all the while being driven by original songwriting and musicianship. The band hit the Top 10 on the Americana Radio Charts with their 2010 CD release Reckless Habits and have strong rotation on various Sirius Satellite Radio stations. In September of 2011, the band released their new studio recording, Paradise Lost, recorded in Nashville, TN and produced by Todd Snider (who also performs on the CD). The record also features guest performances from Tim O’Brien, Elizabeth Cook and Barry Sless. Great American Taxi traffics their collective past helping create their new Americana without borders brand of music.
