Nutcracker Suite and Holiday Concert by KNC

The Summit Community Orchestra and the Summit School of Dance present the eighth annual Joint Holiday Concert on Saturday, December 16, 2012 at Warren Station in Keystone River Run Village under the direction of conductor Mark Koob.


This enchanting evening features selected dances and music from the Nutcracker Land of the Suites such as Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy and Waltz of the Flowers performed by members of the local Summit School of Dance, accompanied by the Summit Community Orchestra. The Summit Community Orchestra along with the young musicians of Scale the Summit music camp and Summit Middle School will conclude the evening with a performance of orchestral holiday favorites including, Greensleeves conducted by Angela Janzen and The Messiah conducted by Dr. Kenneth Evans.


During intermission of the evening performance we will conclude the bidding for our 3rd Annual Festival of Trees Fundraiser. All funds raised from the trees as well as admission into the concert will go to benefit these two great community programs that strive to educate, enrich and entertain our community through their art.
