Step from the top of a mountain into a totally different world, and end your day the Bavarian way with a fun fondue experience the whole family will love. Our gondolas whisk you to the top of North Peak, where you're welcomed by a warm fire and even warmer Bavarian-style entertainment. But the real star here is the food, served fondue and raclette style so everyone gets to prepare each morsel just the way they want it.
Begin your meal with our Traditional Swiss Cheese fondue. A savory blend of Gruyère and Emmentaler Cheeses imported from Switzerland mixed with a little white wine and kirschwasser. Select what you would like to dip from a plate of assorted vegetables, bread cubes and crisp apples.
A classic caesar salad made with homemade dressing and croutons will also be served, for you to enjoy as you wait for the cheese to bubble.
You get to be the cook for the Raclette course! Everyone gets to select two options from our meat and seafood selections to grill on our tabletop Raclette grills. A vegetarian option of assorted vegetables, tofu and polenta is available. Roasted potatoes, assorted dipping sauces, bread and a special plate of Raclette cheese will accompany the grilling items.
Make sure you save room for everyone’s favorite course, Chocolate fondue! You can choose from our Classic Dark Chocolate Fondue, Milk Chocolate Fondue or upgrade your selection to our Signature Flaming Turtle or Oreos and Cream. Take your pick of fresh fruit, banana bread, pound cake, marshmallows and wafer cookies to dip in your choice of chocolate!
Our strolling musicians will keep your toes tapping to their traditional Bavarian songs and don’t be surprised if you find yourself doing the Chicken Dance at 11,444’.
Der Fondue Chessel has closed for the remained of the winter season. We look forward to seeing you for dinner this summer! Der Fondue Chessel will reopen for summer operations on June 14th.
