Beginning Spring 2014, the Lakeshore Condominium Association is moving forward with a renovation to their exterior lake walks and supports located in Keystone’s Lakeside Village. Construction is slated to kick-off April 10th and is projected to run through July 2nd* and will include closing the walkway in front of the Lakeside and Lakeshore buildings for improvements in and around the buildings. An alternative pathway, located on Decatur Hill Frontage Road, will be available on the North side of the Lakeshore buildings for pedestrian traffic.
Additionally, the Keystone Lake water level will be drawn down in order to access the Lakeshore Building. Therefore, water activities will not be available until July 2, 2014 which is just one month after historical summer operations have begun at the Adventure Center. The Adventure Center will open May 31, with bike rentals, in-door arcade including Wii rentals and food facilities. Decatur Field activities including volleyball, tree house and playground will be available throughout the duration of the renovation project.
Construction is expected to be minimally impactful to our valued guests. Keystone Lakeside Village businesses including: The Keystone Adventure Center, The Edgewater Café, Lakeside Deli, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and Pizza on the Plaza will maintain their seasonal hours of operation with limited hours in May and early June returning to peak operations in early July.
