Snowshoeing at Keystone Nordic Center

Keystone's Nordic Center offers more than 9 miles (16 kilometers) of groomed trails and provides access to more than 35 miles (57 kilometers) of nearby packed trails through the White River National Forest (these trails require a 3-5 mile drive to reach the trail heads).

Keystone’s Nordic Center offers more than nine miles of groomed cross country trails and provides access to more than 35 miles of nearby trails through the White River National Forest. The Nordic Center also offers snowshoeing in a serene setting that any guest can enjoy during their stay. Access the trails around the Nordic Center or try mountaintop snowshoe adventures atop Keystone’s famed Dercum Peak. Opening day dependent on snow conditions.
The Keystone Nordic Center offers cross-country skiing, skate skiing, snowshoeing, lessons, rentals, and guided tours throughout the winter.  

Dates:  Opening for the winter season dependent on snow.

Snowshoeing at Keystone Resort is a serene and rewarding activity that any guest can enjoy during their stay at the Rocky Mountain resort. Spread across the White River National Forest, snowshoers of any age can access more than 35 miles of packed trails in and around the Keystone Nordic Center as well as mountain-top snowshoe adventures atop Keystone’s famed Dercum Peak.

Whether a visiting family with five children, or a group of girlfriends ready for their next adventure, snowshoeing is an excellent off-piste winter option that not only allows guests to enjoy the tranquility of nature but also offers spectacular views of Summit County’s breathtaking mountain ranges and vistas.
