Keystone Ski Resort has closed for the winter. Thank you for a great season. We will open June 14 for summer operations. Reserve a place to stay.

See a whole different side of Keystone in the winter with the activities at the Keystone Nordic Center. Cross-country skiing, ski skating, snowshoeing, lessons, rentals, and guided tours are available. Take part in special programs like Ladies Days, Mountain Top Treks, Eco Hikes and Full Moon Tours. And don't miss the fun on our old-fashioned family tubing hill. Warm up with our all-you-can-eat soup buffet lunch at The Nordic Soup Bistro and relax on our outdoor patio.

Keystone's Nordic Center offers more than 9 miles (16 kilometers) of groomed trails and provides access to more than 35 miles (57 kilometers) of nearby trails through the White River National Forest (requiring a 3-5 mile drive to the trailheads). Keystone Nordic Center Programs

Group Nordic Skiing Lesson
An introduction to cross-country skiing techniques. Learn how to move efficiently, turn and stop. Daily at 10:30 a.m. $43 includes trail fee, equipment rental, and 1-hour lesson. Check in by 10:15am.

Group Ski-Skating Lesson
An introduction to ski-skating techniques. For adults familiar with Nordic skiing. Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday at 11:45 a.m. $45 includes trail fee, equipment rental, and 1-hour lesson. Check in by 11:30am. Reservation requested.

Personal Trainer Private Lesson
A private lesson in classic cross-country or ski-skating techniques. With advance reservation only. $66 includes trail fee, equipment rental, and 1-hour lesson. Discounted prices for 2-3 participants.

Private Telemark Lessons
Learn the basics of this classic old-fashioned turn on downhill runs. Private lessons available with advanced reservation. $120 for one student. $25 for each additional participant. Equipment rental $21 with lesson. Lift pass not included.

Snowshoe Ecology Hike
An easy family-oriented hike through the Snake River Valley. Learn about local wildlife, plants & mining history. Mondays & Fridays 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.; Saturdays 1 - 3 p.m. $43 includes trail fee, equipment rental and tour. Minimum age is 7 years.

Mountain Top Snowshoe Trek
Snowshoe from the top of the gondola on Dercum Mountain to Bergman's Bowl and back (avalanche conditions permitting). Enjoy the amazing views and get a great workout! Thursday & Saturday, leaving at 10:30 a.m. and returning around 2:30 p.m. Or any day with a minimum of 3 people and 24-hour advanced reservations. $70 includes equipment rental, tour and gondola/lift ride. Reservations required.

Ladies Day
A day of activity especially for women. Enjoy classic cross-country skiing in the morning, lunch, and snowshoeing in the afternoon. Saturdays 10:30 a.m. - 2:45 p.m. $70 includes equipment rental, ski lesson, guided snowshoe tour and lunch. Minimum age is 12 years. Reservations are required.

Full Moon Snowshoe Tour
Enjoy a moonlit snowshoe hike and soup buffet dinner. The mostly level terrain is perfectly suited for groups and families. $46 includes equipment rental, tour, and soup buffet dinner. Tours begin between 4:30 p.m. and 6 p.m., depending on time of year. Minimum age is 12 years. Reservation required.

For Kids

Polar Bears
A private cross-country ski lesson specially designed for kids ages 7-12 years. Your child will learn the basics of cross-country skiing on level terrain and will become familiar with sliding on the snow. Available daily with advance reservation. $38 includes 45-minute lesson and equipment rental.

Family Nordic Lesson
A 1-hour Nordic skiing lesson for adult & child (7-12 years of age). Available daily with advanced reservation. $55 for two family members and $20 for each additional family member. Includes lesson and equipment rental.

Kids Ski Free
Sundays, January 6 & 20 and March 10, 2013
1:30-2:30pm
Kids 7-12 years of age are invited for a free introduction to cross-country skiing. Equipment is included. No reservation necessary.
